Northridge Masseuse Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Client
Detectives believe there may be additional victims of a massage therapist arrested on suspicion of sexually assaulting a client.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Police arrested a massage therapist Thursday on suspicion of sexually assaulting a client in Northridge. Los Angeles Police Department detectives released his photo Tuesday to encourage additional victims to come forward.
According to the LAPD, police were called to respond to a report of an "attack suspect there now," in the 8600 block of Reseda Boulevard, where at least one massage parlor is located. Responding officers arrested Jesus Tabares on suspicion of forced oral copulation and penetration with a foreign object.
"Officers' investigation revealed Tabares was working at the location and was providing massage
services to the victim," the department announced. "During the incident, Tabares sexually assaulted the victim."

"Devonshire Area Sexual Assault investigators are releasing Tabares’s booking photo because
they believe Tabares is responsible for additional, unreported sexual assaults and they are asking
for anyone that was victimized by this suspect to immediately contact the LAPD," the LAPD said in a written release. "In addition, detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information regarding this crime."
Tabares' bail was set at $100,000.
