Northridge Sparkle Makes Reseda Boulevard, Well, Sparkle
Weeds were hacked, trees trimmed, planters cleaned out, gutters swept and trash picked up.

From Andrea Alvarado:
This was one of the best events ever!! The Village Christian School’s Football Team rocks!!! Over 90 adults and I couldn’t count how many young folks came out to hack weeds, trim trees, clean out planters, sweep gutters, pick up trash, and trim hedges on Reseda Blvd. from Parthenia all the way down to Prairie.
Northridge Sparkle is on a roll! The Reseda Blvd. bridge is walkable, clean and poop-free. You can see the two murals under the bridge and how beautiful they are. First three new “Northridge Village” signs are in the works and will be erected soon (more to come), and the mural at Orphaned CDs should be finished in a few short weeks.

Thank you San Fernando Valley Rescue Mission for coordinating and adding the Village Christian School, thank you Das Bauhaus group, and thank you to the hard working Don Larson for never giving up and moving us all forward. Thank you to our neighbors, Patty Lopez, Sal Pelaez, Rusty Feuer, Roger Hsu, Paul Wilson, Pete Mackel and your entire family, and Jessie Levine from Council District 12. If I didn’t mention you because I didn’t see you, I apologize there were so many people!!
Those young boys went to help over at SFV Rescue Mission after they finished working so hard with us!! They cut more weeds and put together furniture for the Rescue Mission!!!! Wow!!!
