Northridge Wind And Fog Advisory Issued
The National Weather Service issued a wind and fog advisory Thursday morning.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — The National Weather Service Los Angeles/Oxnard issued a wind and fog advisory for Northridge Thursday morning.
The fog advisory will be in effect until 9 a.m. Thursday. The visibility is, at best, a quarter of a mile, NWS said, and low visibility could cause dangerous conditions for drivers.
The State Route 23, 101 (Ventura Freeway), 118 (Ronald Reagan Freeway) and 126 (Henry Mayo Drive) are all affected by the fog. Motorists should drive slow, use headlights and keep extra space between other cars, NWS said.

The wind advisory in Northridge will begin at 6 p.m. Thursday and remain in effect until 6 a.m. Friday with winds up to 20 or 30 miles per hour. Winds could get as fast as 45 miles per hour, NWS said.
The winds could cause road hazards. Motorists should take particular caution on State Route 33 and Interstate 5.
