Bye-Bye Baja; Now Chatsworth Loses a Restaurant

Customers kept pulling into the parking lot at the Chatsworth on Wednesday.

The the sign on the door of the restaurant at 21920 Nordhoff St. said "Closed." And workers inside were busy clearing off kitchen shelves and boxing up supplies.

"We lost our lease," said a young female worker who cracked open the door. "We have to be out by tomorrow, so we closed today," she said.

However, in three to six months a California Chicken Cafe will take over the site, she said.
