Pedestrian Killed In Chatsworth Hit And Run
A 66-year-old Chatsworth man was killed while crossing Lassen Street and police are looking for the driver of a black Kia Optima: BREAKING

CHATSWORTH, CA - Los Angeles police Wednesday sought public help to find a hit-and-run motorist responsible for the death of a pedestrian in Chatsworth.
The 66-year-old Chatsworth man was struck about 9 p.m. Tuesday in the 20600 block of Lassen Street and died at a hospital, the Los Angeles Police Department reported.
His name was being withheld pending notification of his relatives.

The car was described as a white 2013 Kia Optima with a black top. No description of the motorist was released.

The city of Los Angeles offers a standing reward of up to $50,000 for information leading to a hit-and-run suspect's identification, apprehension and conviction, or "resolution through a civil compromise."
Anyone with information on the case was urged to call LAPD Detective William Bustos at (818) 644-8021, or (877) LAPD-247.
