All Clear At Cal State Northridge Campus After Reports Of Armed Person

NORTHRIDGE, CA — California State University has announced an all-clear after a reported person with a gun in their car on the California State University Northridge campus, the university said in a tweet Monday morning.

"The report of an individual with a gun on campus was determined to be unfounded," the university said in a tweet. "No threat has been identified on or around campus. The campus is open and operational."

In an earlier university tweet announcing the lockdown, anyone in a campus parking lot was urged to leave, and anyone on campus was urged to shelter in place.
