Police Investigate Death of Elderly Northridge Woman

Police are investigating the death of a 70- to 75-year-old woman in an apartment in the 10200 block of Lindley Avenue in Northridge, says Los Angeles police Officer Jack Richter. Authorities were called to the scene just after 5 p.m., Richter says. There’s no immediate word on what caused the woman’s death.
