Police Respond To Domestic Incident Near CSUN

Police are responding to a domestic incident on Dearborn Street, which has caused street closures around the university.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — Police are responding to a domestic incident inside a Northridge apartment building at the 18400 block of Dearborn Street, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Police responded to the incident at 11:07 a.m., police said. Police have blocked off Darby Avenue between Nordhoff Street and Prairie Street and Dearborn Street between Reseda Boulevard and Darby Avenue, the Daily Sundial reported.

There is no immediate threat to the area, as the incident is confined to one apartment within the building, police said.

The apartment building is across the street from the B2 faculty parking lot at California State University, Northridge, according to the Daily Sundial. Campus police alerted the community of the incident.
