Police search for robbery suspect near middle school in Chatsworth.
UPDATED AT 4 P.M.: LAPD Devonshire Division officers have arrested a robbery suspect they'd been searching for near the 21600 block of Devonshire Street, says LAPD Officer Tony Im.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Los Angeles police warned residents to avoid the area around Devonshire Street and Canoga Avenue as they searched for a robbery suspect Wednesday afternoon.
Officers blocked off the southwest block along Lemarsh and Eton near Ernest Lawrence Middle School while a suspect search was in progress, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

As of 2:20 p.m. they were looking for a suspect from a robbery that occurred yesterday, said LAPD Officer Tony Im.
The suspect is a 5'7"-5'8", 25-year-old man with short brown hair, weighing about 160 to 165 pounds. He was last seen wearing a sweatshirt, and black ad white puffy jacket and pants.
