Police Seek Help ID'ing Northridge Shooting Suspect
The LAPD released surveillance footage of a suspect who shot someone in Northridge during an attempted carjacking earlier this month.
NORTHRIDGE, CA — Police released surveillance footage Tuesday of a suspect wanted for shooting a person in the chest during an attempted carjacking in Northridge, and are asking for the public's help identifying him.
The shooting occurred on Feb. 2 at around 4:35 p.m. on the 8500 block of Reseda Boulevard. Police said they arrived to find the unnamed victim, who was hospitalized in stable condition.
Police described the suspect as 25 to 30 years old, five feet tall and 160 pounds, with black hair. Video shows him wearing a plaid, long-sleeve brown shirt, dark pants, and black shoes.
