Register Now! FREE Community Emergency Response Team Class Starts Thursday, January 5, 2017, in Granada Hills

Sign up for CERT Level 1 Classes now, starting January 5, Thursday, at Knollwood Country Club in Granada Hills, sponsored by the Granada Hills North Neighborhood Council. This Free CERT Level 1 class is taught by LAFD Firefighter Susan Jensen starting on Thursday, January 5, from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM, at the Knollwood Country Club, 12024 Balboa Blvd., Granada Hills. To obtain your course completion certificate, you must attend all 7 classes.

As CERT classes in Los Angeles are offered more or less around a similar schedule, make-up classes can be done proactively, or after the fact, by attending the missed session at another CERT class.

To graduate with this class, you must attend at least 5 out of the 7 sessions. On graduation day (February 16), LAFD wraps up this course and a cheese, veggie and cookies celebration with coffee and tea is provided courtesy of the Patriot Oil Community Benefit Trust Fund (administered by the North Valley Coalition).
