The fatal crash happened in Panorama City at about 6 a.m. Oct. 2 at the intersection of Burnett Avenue and Rayen Street. The victim, later identified as 51-year-old Adriana Sanchez, was walking her dogs inside a crosswalk when she was struck, according to police. The suspect was driving a late-90s blue Ford F-150 pickup truck., according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Sanchez, a mother and grandmother later died at the hospital, according to police.

Police on Tuesday released video of the woman and the suspect vehicle in hopes of generating tips from the public.
