San Fernando Valley Burglar Hits Multiple Homes In One Morning
Recognize this San Fernando Valley house burglar?
SHERMAN OAKS, CA — Police released video Wednesday of a man stealing items from a Sherman Oaks home, and said the same person is believed to have targeted a nearby house the same morning.
The suspect broke a side-room window at the home in the 14000 block of Valley Vista Boulevard about 11 a.m. March 12, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He took property and exited through a side door, heading in an unknown direction, police said.

The same man is believed to have tried to break into another home the same morning about two miles away in the 4800 block of Saloma Avenue, police said.
The man is described as 25-30 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, about 160 pounds with dark hair. In the video, he is wearing a black baseball cap, checkered shirt and tan pants.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect from the video was urged to call (818) 374-0029 to speak with Van Nuys Station burglary Detective Diamond or (818) 374-0031 to speak with Detective Krauss.
