Scholarship Opportunities for Students Entering Grades 4-8

Chatsworth Hills Academy announced today that it is making ten scholarships of up to $15,000.00 available to area students entering grades 4-8 who demonstrate academic excellence and leadership potential.

Chatsworth Hills Academy has recently been named an International Baccalaureate World School candidate for the Primary Years Program. To celebrate this recognition from the International Baccalaureate, the school is offering ten scholarships to area elementary and middle school students entering grades 4-8 in order to recruit bright and engaged young people who will benefit from the prestigious program. The deadline for applying for the scholarships is Monday, May 16, 2016.

“The International Baccalaureate curriculum emphasizes mastery of concepts and skills, critical and creative thinking, clear communication, and effective collaboration. It teaches students how to learn, positioning them well to adapt to a quickly changing and increasingly global marketplace,” said Adrian Allan, Chatsworth Hills Academy’s head of school. “We are incredibly proud to be the only school in the San Fernando Valley to offer the International Baccalaureate curriculum to students in elementary and middle school, and we want to make this research-based program available to students who would benefit from it, but whose families perhaps never considered private school within reach.”

Chatsworth Hills Academy, located on 16 acres in Chatsworth, CA, is an independent, co-educational, college preparatory school accredited by the California Association of Independent Schools and the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
