Small Plane Crashes At Van Nuys Airport; 1 Injured
A small plane reportedly flipped over upon landing at Van Nuys Airport Thursday afternoon.
LOS ANGELES, CA — A small plane crashed at the Van Nuys Airport Thursday Afternoon, flipping over and landing upside down.
There were no immediate reports of injuries.
The crash was reported shortly after 4 p.m. Thursday near Woodley Avenue and Blythe Street.

"We responded at 4:15 p.m. to the Van Nuys Airport, and we found an overturned aircraft in the safety area near the runway," said Los Angeles Fire Department Spokesman Nicholas Prange.
The pilot, a 28 year-old woman, suffered minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital, added Prange.

No one else was aboard the plane when it crashed.
