Stone Fire Scorches 1,352 Acres Near Agua Dulce, 63% Contained

AGUA DULCE, CA -- The "Stone Fire" in Agua Dulce is 63 percent contained Wednesday after scorching 1,352 acres. Crews made progress Tuesday constructing and improving containment lines, according to a statement from the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

Firefighters will monitor, patrol and reinforce containment lines throughout the night, officials said.

The blaze was reported around 12:30 p.m. Monday near the 35100 block of Anthony Road, according to the Los Angeles County Fire Department.

A firefighter suffered a minor injury and was taken to a hospital, officials said. No other injuries were reported and no structures were damaged.

There was no word on what sparked the flames.
