Stranded Cyclist Rescued By LAFD Helicopter Near Chatsworth
The Los Angeles Fire Department rescued a cyclist stranded near Oat Mountain on Tuesday night after a 911 call.
CHATSWORTH, CA — A stranded mountain bicyclist was rescued Tuesday night near Chatsworth, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
In a Tuesday night tweet, the LAFD reported that ground and air units responded to a 911 call at 9:32 p.m. near the 11400 block of Browns Canyon Road, near Oat Mountain in an unincorporated part of Chatsworth.
According to LAFD spokesperson Brian Humphrey, an LAFD helicopter flew the approximately 35-year-old cyclist to a nearby landing spot and transferred the person to an LAFD vehicle. The man was reported uninjured.
