Street Racing Blamed For Deadly Devonshire Street Crash
A driver died at the crash scene in Mission Hills Tuesday night in what witnesses described as a street race.
LOS ANGELES, CA — Police suspect street racing may have led to a fatal crash on Devonshire Street Tuesday night.
When police arrived on scene at the intersection of Devonshire Street and Woodman Avenue at about 10 p.m, they found a vehicle that had crashed into a parked car. The driver died in the crash, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
According to witnesses, the vehicle that crashed was racing with another vehicle seconds before the deadly accident. Authorities did not immediately release a description of the second vehicle.

Police did not release the name of the victim pending notification of family.
No other injuries were reported.
