Suspect Arrested In Winnetka Shooting; Motive Remains A Mystery: LAPD
Police arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of murder in the shooting death of another man Sunday in a Winnetka home.

LOS ANGELES, CA — Authorities arrested a man on suspicion of murder in the shooting of another man in a Winnetka area home, but the motive for the slaying remains a mystery, the Los Angeles Police Department announced Thursday.
Members of the LAPD/FBI Fugitive task force arrested Tony Ross, 38, of Canyon Country Wednesday in connection with Sunday's shooting death of Bilal Bin Abdullah, 43, of Lancaster. Abdullah died at the scene of the shooting, reported at about 3 p.m. Sunday in the 20000 block of Sherman Way, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Detectives are still trying to piece together the motive for the shooting and what led up to it.

"The motive for the murder remains under investigation," the LAPD reported on Thursday. "Preliminary investigation revealed, a male entered the location and confronted Abdullah in the upstairs bedroom. Several shots were heard, and the male fled the location in a red or maroon sedan."
Ross was being held at the Van Nuys jail on $2 million bail.
