Suspect In Winnetka Stabbing At Large
Authorities are looking for a man armed with a hunting knife last seen running on Sherman Way.
LOS ANGELES - A man was stabbed with a hunting knife Friday morning in the Winnetka area, and his attacker remains at large, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. The investigation is ongoing.
The attack occurred at about 8:40 a.m. in the 20800 block of Sherman Way, said Los Angeles Police Department Officer J. Chaves.
The victim, a man in his 60s, was rushed to a nearby hospital.

The stabbing suspect was last seen running eastbound on Sherman Way toward De Soto Avenue, Chaves said. The suspect is described as a man, 5-feet and seven inches-tall, about 165 pounds and wearing a black and gray jacket and gray pants. He was armed with a hunting knife with a black handle.
