The Chatsworth Farmers Market is welcoming a new produce vendor, Elizabeth Alvarado. Although she offers a variety of fruits and vegetables, it is the smell of strawberries which lingers in the air that lures customers.
Alvarado works for R & L based in Oxnard. She typically starts her day at 7 a.m. on the farm where she cultivates crops until 4 p.m.
