'Think 91311' Comes Once in a Lifetime
Celebrate today with 1,000 people at the Chatsworth festival on the grounds of St. Stephen Presbyterian Church.
Once every century the Chatsworth ZIP code is the same as the date. When that happens, it's time to Think 91311.
The last time it occurred, William Howard Taft was president, the Indy 500 had just been created, the NAACP was incorporated, Chevrolet and Crisco entered the marketplace and, over the skies of San Diego, the first aerial photograph was taken.
On Tuesday, the next 9/13/11, another aerial photo will be taken. This time, though, it will be done from a helicopter hovering over Think 91311, a celebration of Chatsworth history, traditions and commerce. The event begins at 4:30 p.m. on the grounds of , 20121 Devonshire St. Admittance is free and the event is scheduled to run until 8:30 p.m.

Vicki Briskman, a member of the Chatsworth Neighborhood Council , conceived the idea after seeing a Beverly Hills celebration of 90210 She pictured the event involving a broad array of neighborhood groups working together for a stronger community.
She recalled how, almost exactly three years ago, Chatsworth came together to help the victims of the fatal Metrolink crash. "I just thought this would be a great day to do something good for the community and rally the community for a good cause instead of getting together over something tragic."
