Boy, 4, Drowns; His Twin Battles For Life After Being Pulled From Pool
One four-year-old boy died, and his brother is in critical condition after they were found in a pool in Porter Ranch.
PORTER RANCH, CA — Four-year-old twin boys were found unresponsive in a backyard pool in Porter Ranch Friday, and one of the boys died shortly after. His brother remains in critical condition.
Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the 10000 block of Des Moines Avenue shortly after 10:35 a.m., according to the Los Angeles Fire Department and the Los Angeles Police Department.
Dispatchers guided the 911 callers through CPR until paramedics arrived on the scene.

"LAFD Firefighter/Paramedics quickly arrived to continue advanced life support, promptly transporting the pair — one in grave condition, the other in critical condition — and their parents to a regional Pediatric Trauma Center," Brian Humphrey of the LAFD said shortly after the incident.
"The Mayor's Crisis Response Team was summoned to assist the family and neighbors," Humphrey said.

Police were also called to the scene to investigate, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
