Train Derails And Overturns In Granada Hills

LOS ANGELES, CA — A train derailed and overturned in Granada Hills Monday morning, but there were no immediate reports of injuries or ongoing danger from the derailment.

The derailment occurred just after 8 a.m. at 14351 North San Fernando Road, according to Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Brian Humphrey.

"One or more freight railroad cars derailed and overturned," said Humphrey. "Undetermined cargo."
