Two Hurt In West Hills House Fire
Two people were hospitalized with burn injuries including one person in critical condition.

WEST HILLS, CA — Two people seriously injured Tuesday in a house fire in West Hills. Both victims were hospitalized with burn injuries including one in critical condition.
At about 11:30 p.m. Monday, the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the fire in the 6800 block of Gross Avenue, where a one-story home was engulfed in flames, said my Bastman of the Los Angeles Fire Department.
About 38 firefighters worked to put out the blaze in just 17 minutes. Both patients were treated for burn injuries, one of whom was taken to a hospital in critical condition. The other was taken to a hospital with an unknown severity of burns, Bastman said.

Neither the age nor gender of the victims was disclosed. Investigators are working to determine the cause of the fire.
