Water Main Break Closes Topanga Canyon Boulevard for Days

A northbound section of Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Canoga Park will be closed until thursday, authorities say.

LOS ANGELES, CA -- A water main break Tuesday forced the closure of a section of northbound Topanga Canyon Boulevard in Canoga Park and the road was not expected to reopen until Thursday.

The break occurred at 1:20 a.m. in a 6-inch cast iron main on Topanga Canyon Boulevard at Gault Street, according to the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power.

Crews were making repairs, but the northbound lanes between Vanowen Street and Sherman Way would remain closed until Thursday, according to the DWP.
