Where To Find Sandbags In Northridge-Chatsworth

NORTHRIDGE-CHATSWORTH, CA — Northridge and Chatsworth are expected to get heavy rain on Thursday, along with the rest of Los Angeles.

Los Angeles County Public Works will give out sandbags at multiple locations Thursday to help Northridge and Chatsworth residents deal with the unusual amount of rain. In Northridge and Chatsworth, you can pick up sandbags at:

Putting sandbags around your house will help avoid flooding or any damage from water and debris during a heavy rain.

Northridge and Chatsworth have nearly a 100 percent chance of rain through Friday morning, at which point the rain should clear in time for the holiday weekend.
