Woman, 83, Goes Missing From San Fernando Valley

Authorities are asking for the public's help finding an 83-year-old woman who went missing from the Valley on Tuesday.

SYLMAR, CA — Authorities are asking for the public's help finding an at-risk 83-year-old woman who was last seen in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.

Martha Sandoval-Montero was last seen at around 7 a.m. Tuesday near Foothill Boulevard and Bledsoe Street in Sylmar, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The CHP activated a Silver Alert for Sandoval-Montero Wednesday in Los Angeles, Orange and San Diego counties.

Sandoval-Montero is a 5-foot-5 woman weighing 120 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a black sweater and pants, black-and-white shoes and was carrying a black rolling luggage bag.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts is urged to call 911.
