Woman Hit By Train In Chatsworth
The woman had to be airlifted to a hospital and Metrolink service has been interrupted.

CHATSWORTH, CA — A woman, who had been struck by an Amtrak train in Chatsworth was airlifted to a hospital Thursday.
The woman was walking in a train tunnel in the 10300 block of North Shadow Oaks Drive at about 1 p.m. Thursday when she was hit by the train. Paramedics treated her at the scene and called in a helicopter to rush her to a trauma center.
Roughly 100 people were on train 767 when the accident happened, but no one onboard the train was injured, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The unidentified pedestrian's condition remains unknown.
Metrolink's Ventura County Line 109 train to Moorpark terminated in Chatsworth while crews worked to clear the scene, and alternate transportation was being sought for the rail passengers, Metrolink reported.
