Woman Stabbed In The Neck In Near Cal State Northridge
Police arrested a man on suspicion of attempted murder in a stabbing near the Cal State Northridge campus Monday morning.

NORTHRIDGE, CA — A woman was stabbed in the neck Monday at her apartment in Northridge and a man was in custody, authorities said.
The woman called police at 2:07 a.m. and told them her apartment in the 17700 block of Lassen Street had been burglarized, Officer Norma Eisenman of the Los Angeles Police Department's Media Relations Section said.
When police arrived, they discovered she was stabbed in the neck in a possible case of domestic violence, Eisenman said. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment.

A possible suspect showed up at the scene and was taken into custody on suspicion of attempted murder, she said.
The LAPD said the victim was not a CSUN student or involved with Cal State Northridge.
