MARIN COUNTY, CA — An early morning crash has slowed the commute for Marin drivers.
The slowdown is happening on HWY-101 between Lucas Valley and Novato. CHP shut down the right lanes, backing up traffic to Roland Boulevard.
CHP reported a "severe traffic alert" and collision at 6:33 a.m. north of Lucas Valley Road in San Rafael.
Motorists are still advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes to avoid the area. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway, according to the CHP.
