• Man Holds Knife To Woman's Throat, Then Barricades Himself In Novato Home: Police (patch.com) — Novato police arrested a local man after a tense two-hour standoff that began when he allegedly threatened a woman with a knife near the Square Shopping Center. Officers tracked him to a nearby home, called in Marin County Sheriff's support, and eventually secured a peaceful surrender with help from a family member. No further injuries were reported.
