Baeltane Brewing Lupercalia Fest

Lupercalia was a very ancient,
possibly pre-Roman pastoral festival, observed on February 13 through 15 to
avert evil spirits and purify the city, releasing health and fertility.  This also has close ties to the nursing of
Romulus and Remus by the She-wolf in the Cave of Lupercal.

In any case we are celebrating!  We have produced two distinct IPA’s for
you.  They come from one mother-batch of
wort and at the end separated into two different beers utilizing our dry
hopping techniques.

There will be music during the
evening hours:  Rebecca Richman Group will
play at 4:30 and A thousand Years at Sea
will play at 7pm.

We will have food vendors as
well.  Creekside Bakery of Novato will have sausages and sides and we will
also have The Ribs Guy back with his
spectacular pork ribs and sides.

Baeltane Brewing will also be serving
up a bunch of beers for the event.
Expect some favorite old beers you haven’t seen (Old?  We have only been open just over a year) and
a couple of very new releases we know you will enjoy.

So, come relax, have fun, enjoy the
music and food, and, of course the camaraderie!

Cheers,
