Calling all Ghouls & Ghosts!
National Costume Swap Day, Preschool Spooktacular Ages 2 – preK

Calling all Bay Area ghouls and ghosts, Good Shepherd Lutheran School is hosting a Preschool Spooktacular on Saturday, October 11 from 10:00 a.m. – Noon. Honoring National Costume Swap Day, which takes place each year on the second Saturday of October, Good Shepherd Lutheran School will provide families an opportunity to exchange and swap out costumes, as well as celebrate Halloween fun and fall festivities.
“We are thrilled to host this fun-filled event,” says Director of Preschool Kerry Knight. “The Spooktacular will be a lot of fun, and also give parents a reason to recycle old costumes while celebrating Halloween and early childhood. We teach our preschool children the importance of conservation and recycling, and we also know how they love to dress up. This event celebrates conservation, the fall season, as well as the little people in our community and their passion for fantasy and play.”
The Spooktacular event will also feature a cupcake walk, Jumpy House and games, as well as the School’s annual Book Fair which will be open to families attending the event. The “spooking” and “swapping” will be held at the main campus of Good Shepherd located at 1180 Lynwood Drive in Novato. Children ages 2-preK are invited to attend. Siblings of other ages are welcome. Costumes can be dropped off in advance at Good Shepherd beginning September 29. Those who drop off a costume early will receive a voucher redeemable on Saturday, October 11.
