Alex Miller has been teaching martial arts in Novato for many years. His classes at the Hamilton Recreation Center offered through Novato Parks & Rec typically fill up quickly.
Students receive training in the physical skills involved in martial arts as well as improved focus/self-control and discipline, and an emphasis on lifeskills such as Courtesy, Honor, Integrity, Loyalty, Respect and Perseverance.
After earning his 6th degree black belt in 2013, Mr. Miller recently completed a year-long intensive training during which he utilized and demonstrated all of these lifeskills.
His training culminated in a week spent at the international headquarters of the American TaeKwonDo Association in early July, after which he was officially recognized as a Master of TaeKwonDo by the world leader of SongAhm TaeKwonDo, Grand Master In Ho Lee.
Congratulations Master Miller, on your tremendous accomplishment!
