Conserving Water in the Garden Sponsored by the Marin Master Gardeners

Water and irrigation are increasingly the key factors in garden design. Conserving water is the goal. Our main purpose will be to discuss strategies and techniques for using less water in our gardens, including: plant selection and placement, working with soil and contours, and looking at water conserving irrigation practices and devices.  The Speaker:  Tony Mekisich

Tony has worked with residential irrigation systems for 25 years and enjoys helping gardeners solve water problems, whether a wilted plant, a muddy puddle or a spraying leak shooting a rainbow across the yard in the hot summer sun.
