Drive In Movie, Theater and More This Weekend

Relive the ‘50s movie experience at the North Bay Drive In Saturday evening in Hamilton. This time, the movie is Godzilla vs. the Smog Monster, a 1971 film about a pollution-spawned monster by Japanese director Yoshimitsu Banno. Flick features hallucinatory fish-head people, go-go dancing, animation and pop songs to deliver a warning message about the danger of pollution. Starts at 9pm, but come earlier to park and settle in.

Marin Open Garden Project hosts a weekly fruit and veggie exchange Saturday at the corner of Ferris Drive and Nova Lane from 9:30am - 10:30am. Come meet your neighbors, stock up on healthy produce and reduce waste.

Marin Summer Theater presents Gypsy, a story about an aggressive stage mother dragging two daughters from one second-rate theatre to another in hopes of scoring an appearance at the Orpheum Theater.The splendor of vaudeville's waning days are brought to life in this musical based on the life of burlesque queen Gypsy Rose Lee.
