Ghiringhelli: We Are Open for Business

A reader recently wrote in asking if Ghiringhelli Pizzeria Grill & Bar was open following last Thursday’s accident when a car smashed through the business’s banquet room, just staff were preparing for a children’s party.

Avi Dutt, the restaurant’s manager, says Ghiringhelli is open for business, although it will take some time before the banquet room is fully restored.

A 67-year-old woman was driving with two others in the car, when she smashed through the window, shattering lass and denting a wall. The driver and passengers suffered minor injuries, but the interior of the restaurant was not affected.

Police say the crash may have been caused by driver inattention or a mechanical problem.
