Help Novato High Win Solar

MCE's 'Deep Green Solar Schools' campaign will award a 3 kilowatt (kW) solar array worth approximately $10,000 to a local high school.

Between now and September 28, 2014, if you sign up for MCE’s Deep Green 100% renewable energy service, you can vote for one of the following participating schools to win a $10,000 solar array:

  • Novato High, Novato
  • Terra Linda High, San Rafael
  • Tomales High, Tomales

The high school with the most votes will win the solar array, save money on electricity, and enable students to engage with renewable energy first hand.

Deep Green 100% renewable energy is only a penny more per kilowatt-hour than MCE’s Light Green rates, so for most residential customers, the additional cost of Deep Green is less than $5 per month. And for commercial customers, Deep Green often costs less than standard PG&E rates! Half of this additional revenue is invested in the development of new, local renewable energy projects.
