Writer and solo performer W. Allen Taylor crafted this award-winning coming-of-age show about the poignant journey of discovering the father he never knew. With period rhythm & blues, gospel and jazz music serving as a backdrop, Taylor portrays numerous characters and brings to life Bill Hawkins, an acclaimed radio disc jockey in Cleveland, Ohio. This 90-minute, one-man show is winner of the Best Solo Performance of 2006 Award by the San Francisco Bay Area Theatre Critics Circle. Feb. 6, 7, & 8 at 8 PM and Feb. 9 at 2 PM.
