Marin’s Advanced Voice Class presents the songs of Richard Rodgers, an American
composer (1902-1979) of more than 900 songs and 43 Broadway musicals. He is
best known for songwriting partnerships with the lyricists Lorenz Hart and
Oscar Hammerstein II. His compositions have had a significant impact on popular
music to the present day and an enduring broad appeal. Unlike some more
contemporary musicals these are meant to be sung in a more classical style and
we are delighted to be able to perform these for you!
