Late to the Train Party?

Ok--it has been suggested --by "Jerry" that I am late to the party on how we chose FF as a train station instead of down town.  Can I get an answer to that question?--How did Novato City Council arrive at their opinion and subsequent decision to NOT have a depot down town?  Was it similar to the now being implemented "Grand Central Bus Station"---in that there was no public Taxpayer outreach for the Citizens opinion?---I just do not recall this decision being discussed or in the IJ!  What's with that?  Have you JERRY seen anything about our new 3 to 5 million dollar  bus stop/station capable of transporting the population of Novato in a single day! ---in the IJ---HUH---JERRY--whats with that?  NO PUBLIC OUTREACH!!!!!!!!
