Make Your Own Nature Guide

A ranger will teach kids about local plants and trees the creative way! First we will discuss and use various plant samples found in the area to create a plant identification book. Then we will head out on a short nature walk to field test the books. This event is recommended for ages 5-12. Rain will cancel this event. DIRECTIONS: From Hwy 101 in Novato, take exit 463 for Atherton Ave east 1.7 miles. Turn right onto Olive Ave and left onto Deer Island Ln. The gate is on your right.
