Man Arrested for Novato Assault, Robbery

Officers arrested a man in Novato Friday night on suspicion of assault, robbery, and criminal threats, police said.

A physical altercation between Michael Mossi, 28, of Novato, and the victim occurred on Center Road and Novato Boulevard around 7 p.m., according to Novato police.

Mossi allegedly robbed the victim of personal items and gave him minor injuries that required no hospitalization, police said.

Mossi was located by police a short time after the incident and was arrested and booked into Marin County Jail.
