College of Marin’s Contemporary Opera Marin, under
the direction of Paul Smith, presents Astor Piazzolla's fascinating cabaret
tango opera, Maria of Buenos Aires.
This 70 minute work combines beautiful singing, mystical poetry, and, of
course, the tango, in a fully staged English language production directed
by Sandi V. Weldon with music direction by Paul Smith.
