Marin Oratorio: Mass in B minor – Johann Sebastian Bach

College of
Marin’s Music Department presents Bach’s last major composition, widely
regarded as one of the supreme achievements of classical music. The Mass in B minor is a monumental
synthesis of every stylistic and technical contribution that Bach made to
music. A 100-voice chorus, under the direction of Boyd Jarrell, will be
joined by a full orchestra and a stellar cast of vocal soloists. Don’t miss
this work of universal and timeless significance.
