Crime & Safety

National Night Out Is August 6

Have a concern about crime in your neighborhood or want to get involved with the police or fire department? Here's your chance.

The Novato Police Department responds to hundreds of calls a day as it investigates stolen vehicles, house break-ins, gang activity and other crimes.

But police don’t work in a vacuum.

Instead, they frequently rely on residents to phone in tips and share information they have about what’s going on in their neighborhoods.
