Novato Chamber Hosting City Council Candidate Forum October 3
Candidates scheduled to square off on Oct. 3.
Four city council candidates who are vying for two open seats have been invited to appear as panelists in a public forum this Thursday, October 3.
The four candidates include incumbents Pat Eklund (the current mayor) and Denise Athas. Retired teacher Eleanor Sluis and Creekside Bakery co-owner Steve Jordan are the others.
The Thursday, October 3 forum will be moderated by Marin Independent Journal Columnist Dick Spotswood.

The Novato Chamber of Commerce is hosting the forum, which it is co-sponsoring with the Downtown Novato Business Association.
The forum will be held at the Novato Unified School District Office Board Room (1015 Seventh Street) from 5 to 6:30 p.m. Admission to this event is free.
