Novato Gas Station Robbery Suspect Sought

Police are seeking the whereabouts of an armed man who robbed a gas station in Novato early Saturday morning.

At about 6 a.m., police officers responded to a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred at a Shell gas station and convenience store located at 401 Enfrente Road near Ignacio Lane.

The suspect, described as a black man in his 40s, was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and dark jeans at the time of the robbery. He may have been in possession of a black semi-automatic handgun, police said.

No injuries were reported.

The Novato Police Department is investigating the robbery and is asking anyone who may have information regarding this incident to contact police at (415) 897-4361.
