Novato Gymnastics Team Hosts Fall Classic

The Novato Gymnastics Team competed at the Fall Classic on September 28-29, in front of a home crowd at the Novato Gymnastics Center.  Approximately 275 gymnasts from teams around Northern California met for a regular season competition. 

This was the first meet of the season for Novato's Level 3 gymnasts, and the first meets ever for Veronica Birnberg, 11, and Quinn Cantarutti, 12.  Grace Nakashima, 12, won the Level 3 Junior B All Around with 37.625, the highest score of entire meet.  Olivia Cadaoas, 8, scored 36.350 to win the Child A All Around, while Antonia Doyle, 9, scored 36.700 All Around to win the Child C Division.

Level 5 highlights included a first place finish in the All Around by Hannah Cook, 11, who scored 36.825, the highest score in her session.  Nicole Gutierrez, 13, won the Older Division with a 36.700 All Around score.  Remi Snyder, 10, captured first place on Uneven Bars with 9.500, and Floor Exercise with 9.400 in the Younger Division.  In Level 4, Maya Perry, 12, won the Older Division Around with a 36.725 total, Uneven Bars with 9.625, and Balance Beam with 9.075.
